Yes, we currently service most gated communities and compounds!
What information do you need when I request golf cart assistance?
Have your Decal Number, location address, and address of drop off location.
Can you come on the golf course to get me?
We CAN, but we are asked not to if there is an ambassador present. You can call the ambassador’s number on the back of your score card to get your cart taken to the starter shack or parking lot.
Is membership required to receive service?
No, But a $100 Non-Member Fee is charged for service.
What does a golf cart membership include?
Unlimited Roadside Assistance at no charge. (NON PLATINUM/PLUS Members Subject to $40 Non-Emergency Transport fee)
What is a Non-Emergency Transport Fee?
A Non-Emergency Transport fee is from Your HOME or STORAGE, to a DEALERSHIP or STORAGE FACILITY.
(From your home to Village Golf Carts, Storage Facility to your home, Storage Facility to VGC, etc.)
Does my membership cover roadside assistance and mobile service calls?
Yes, 24-7, 365.
Are there limits on how many service calls I can use per year?
No, All roadside assistance is UNLIMITED. (Plus and Platinum members Have 2 FREE Non-Emergency transports per year)
Does membership cover both electric and gas golf carts?
Yes, they do.
Can I add multiple golf carts under one membership?
No, we cover CARTS not PEOPLE. So each cart needs to have its own membership.
Can my RENTERS use my Kart Aide Service?
Yes, as Kart Aide covers CARTS not PEOPLE.
How do I renew, upgrade, or cancel my membership?
For renewals, Upgrades or New carts, we ALWAYS suggest using our website! But if you need assistance, please call our office and they will assist you!
Do you test golf cart batteries on-site?
Yes, All of our drivers have a battery tester in their cars at all times.
Can you replace golf cart batteries at my location?
Yes we can, and will do.
Do you service both lead-acid and lithium golf cart batteries?
Currently we only replace batteries on GAS golf carts.
How do I know when my golf cart batteries need replacing?
Usually you will see Reduced range, slow acceleration, or longer charge times, alongside physical issues like bulging cases, acid leaks, or heavy corrosion.
What causes golf cart batteries to lose charge quickly?
Age/wear, improper charging (over/undercharging, wrong charger), poor maintenance (low water, corrosion), parasitic drains (accessories left on, faulty solenoid), and extreme temperatures
How long does a typical golf cart battery replacement take?
30-45 minutes at your location
Are battery services covered under membership?
No, Battery Services are a service sold separately.
Do replacement batteries come with a warranty?
Yes, All Kart Aide Batteries Come with a 1 year replacement warranty.
Do you test batteries as part of the maintenance?
Yes! We always check the cold cranking amp and the percentage of battery life.
How often should I have maintenance done?
Almost always once a year, or once every 75 hours of driving.
What tire pressure should I keep my Yamaha golf cart?
22PSI is the ideal pressure to have the best ride.
Do you do accessories? Like seat belts, light kits?
No, we do not install any 3rd party products.
Do you do repairs while doing the maintenance?
If it something small like a blown fuse, or a small electrical issue, we will tackle that for you as long as it is not a labor intensive job.
Do I have to take my golf cart to your shop?
Not at all! We come to your house and do the work at your home!
Do you repair flat golf cart tires on-site?
We will attempt to plug any hole if able to, or we can provide a loaner tire. (Membership required for Loaner Tires.)
Can you replace golf cart tires in the field?
We can Plug tires, and provide Loaners, but we can not REPAIR on site.
What golf cart tire sizes and tread types do you service?
205/65-10, 205/50-10, 8 Inch, and RADIAL: 205/65-R10.
Do you carry replacement golf cart tires with you?
We carry loaners on our trailers at all times, but Replacements will be done off location.
How long does a golf cart tire repair or replacement take?
Plugs/Loaners 15-30 minutes. Replacements are 3 BUSINESS days.
Can worn or damaged tires affect my golf cart’s performance?
Yes, poor traction, slower speeds, bad handling, increased battery drain (less range), and unsafe braking conditions.
Are tire repairs or replacements covered under membership?
Tire Repairs are, Replacements are SOLD SEPERATELY.
